Thanks BP. This is a great song. I think the Dusty Springfield version is my favorite.

Did you notice DivShare changed it's page a little bit? The links are on the sidebar now. I liked the way it was before.

That's the danger of covering a Dusty song; her studio interpretation of any song may not be its definitive performance but she sets the standard so close to perfection that equaling her can be self-destructive.

I wish I could say the same of Dusty's concert work. From what I have seen, she had too much fun playing with the audience to fully concentrate on her songs' nuances. This may not have been totally her fault though, as like many other vocalists of her era, her concert setlists were half her songs and half covers of others' recent hits. Cher and Neil Diamond were also notorious for this.

Luckily, videos of Dusty's many live tapings (without audience) are thriving on DVD, especially her European appearances.
