Every monday for about a year now, i've cooked up a pot of red beans with the obligatory side of rice. Every monday without fail, the tiny house were me and my brother rent fills up with local friends, some bringing beer others with a dessert or a side dish, all with a healthy appetite. My question is do you have a weekly tradition and if so what is it? How long have you had this problem ? ;)

My mom makes fried chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes once a week. I usually go over for dinner that night. To be fair - I end up eating dinner with my mom and her husband a few nights a week because she'll call and say what she's fixing and invite me over. She only lives two miles away.

The Friday morning "everything" bagel with lox and cream cheese has been a staple here at work for just over a year. This Friday's my last day, so I'll have to think about Friday-bageling at home.

Every sunday for the last two years or so my roommate and I will cook a big dinner, have friends over, and watch the Simpsons.
