Toronto subway shutdown The TTC threw me a curve this morning. I walked all the way from Eglinton and Yonge to Sheppard Yonge, where I work. (And then all day at work I had people come up to me and say, "I heard you walked all the way here from Eglinton!!!" like it was some big accomplishment. It can't be more than four miles at most.) Were any other Toronto bunnies affected by this subway accident?

It's amazing how people react to this sort of thing, I walk the same distance to work many days, and if a cow orker sees me walking along, they inevitably pull up and say `do you want a lift?' `no, thanks'. `Are you sure?' `Yes, I like walking'.

Geez I walked the 2K to the mall on my lunch break last week to buy some spoons and the guys in the office were shocked. It's 4 mostly flat kilometres guys over the course of 45 minutes, almost anyone could manage.
