The definitive butt-rock song. [More:] For the uninitiated 'butt-rock' is a nickname for the 1970's second-string hard rock/boogie rock/stoner rock that some love and some revile. This song with it's kozmic wizdom organ-laden intro, bloozy guitars, good ol' boy lead vocal,half-baked lyrics and catchy chorus is, IMHO, the pinnacle of the form. It's beautifully ridiculous, yet with a few beers in you it's downright irresistible. The outfit behind it is a story in themselves.
Hell yeah, Jonny, keepin' it real!

I read that as "the definitive butt-plug song" and man oh man was I curious.

Laverne Baker's Jim Dandy.

Black Oak Arkansas is one of those band's whose song quality is directly proportional to the volume level; the louder, the better. Play their songs at low levels and the yuck factor begins to kick in. I guess that pretty much describes butt rock in general, for me anyways. (I do not consider this a bad thing, much like eating room-temperature sushi.)
