Snack time! I'm having deviled eggs. What are you having?

It's dinnertime here, and I've just started dinner, which tonight will be breast of lamb with veggies.

One of the best things I have ever bought is this. It's a mini-convection countertop oven, and I've had it for about 10 years. I would probably not bother to heat up the main oven just for myself, but this is wonderful, it doesn't need pre-heating and I use it probably 5 times a week to cook my dinner.

So it's a nice piece of roast lamb tonight. Followed by strawberries and Greek Yoghurt.

Yum!

It's after dinner time here, so I am going to head out to drink a few litres of delicious pilsner. It's the snack of kings, I tell you.

Trader Joe's dark-covered bits of ginger mixed with some dark-covered bits of prunes.

Tonight...eh. Microwave some broccoli, with Romano, garlic, olive oil, maybe some rosemary...a little cup of manestra (orzo) on the side. And some red wine.

ej, I need to find one of those gadgets -- it's be just right for, say, a venison chop and a couple of small potatoes.

I love my convection oven, jan. Cooks FAST!

Elsa, I feel compelled to warn you that sugar on a sore throat will only make it worse. What you want is lemon in hot water.

Honey on a sore throat works pretty well. Honey plus ginger in hot water is pretty good, too.

I had deviled eggs too! I was out of horseradish so I put in more curry than usual. They're extra spicy.
