I haven't made a music post in a while →[More:] so here are some songs that I've been listening to recently:

Close To Distance by Guts Pie Earshot - Is there anything better than cellos run through distortion pedals? No, no there is not.

Dead Eyes by Jesu - I thought Godflesh really sucked, but then the main guy went on to do Jesu and that made up for it.

Sleepy California by Her Space Holiday - A guy in a hardcore band from my hometown when I was growing up went and made with the "indie music" and I think it turned out pretty good.

Flying Under Cheap Kites by The Isles - I'm not ashamed to admit that I love the Smiths.

Young Shields by Casiotone For The Painfully Alone - Don't listen to this if you don't like synthesizers.

Upon further reflection, I think Indian Summer (the band he was in) was more like Rites of Spring than Strife, but my memory is crappy and it's entirely possible I'm thinking of someone different.
