My gf said "I like how the rival is the one with his hand on the Hokie's shoulder." Good observation. UVA and VT are big football "rivals".

If it's a small comfort, it seems like everybody here is wearing maroon and orange - schools and workplaces are doing wear-the-colors fundraisers.

I attended UT at Austin, but when the TA&MU bonfire tragedy happened, I absolutely couldn't root for the 'Horns and against the Aggies when they had the game that week. And neither could anyone else.

Wow, UofR is represented. I went to UR for a year, assuming that's Rochester.
