Thank you so much bunnies!!! [More:]I've started taking my calls, and am slowly building up my confidence as I go. The best part is, that in this company, I'm able to log in to other websites from work, so I can relieve some of the pent up stress in this job by visiting you guys.:)

(My calls are also going well. At first, they were not so good, but I'm learning as I'm going, like youngergirl, and I might be actually good at this job.)

Pray/Wish good wishes for me bunnies:)
awww.

Good wishes and prayers for you! I apologise in advance for all the rude assholes.

Don't worry Gracie:)

Good wishes to you too, I read your post about the "S's" gig (is she your sister), and want to tell you that I'm in the same fucking boat that you are, and wish that my Anxiety Disorder would take a flying fuck-leap into oblivitude too.:)

No, just an individual here in town, my sis's over in USia.

Indeed, they can chase each other in tiny sailboats round and round the lake of oblivitude.

(Where are you currently residing Gracie?) If I maybe so bold as to ask.:)

The person next to me has a very distinct limp. He's a jovial fellow, and until now I didn't realize that whenever he gets up, he has to do something to his leg (as if he is re-attaching it, or re-adjusting it in some way), and then he can stand and walk on it.

I'm one lucky son-of-a-*****.

Heehee, that guy next to me asked me which site I was browsing, and I didn't know how to describe it, or even tell him what it was, but he scooted over and took a look, so I told him it was like Orkut, which is really big here, and he then scooted back. A minute or two later, he asked me the url, and then scooted back again, and took it--Metachat.org, only thing though--if you type in Metachat.org in the address bar, you go to another site, which is where he landed up.;)

Have you gotten any "I broke my cupholder," calls yet?

I'm in fair Caledonia!

My other half says that some day his job could give him the opportunity to work in Delaware, London or Mumbai.

I worked with a Vietnam vet -- quietest guy I ever met, but wonderfully gentle sense of humor -- who'd left a leg in the Central Highlands who did the same exact thing: Reach down and tug absently on his thigh as he stood up to make sure the leg was seated OK. His limp was almost theatrical. I wonder if he ever looked into the new computer-controlled legs?

Funny story from when I did customer support for BellSouth's DSL service: There was this good ol' boy in Lousiana someplace who obviously liked hunting and fishing but wasn't up on all this computer-equipment stuff. When I had him checking his hardware connections, it turned out that the Ethernet jack hadn't quite fit the analog modem plug, so he'd taken out his hunting knife and whittled it so it'd fit -- but he still couldn't get Web pages.

I had to look up where Caledonia is. Didn’t know it was the Latin name for Scotland. Oooops.
jon, I chickened out of that Semi-Tech job that I was being trained for at the last minute; I didn’t think I could bare impinging myself on the American public:)
I’m working for a job placement agency here in Hyderabad itself, and am dealing with Indian customers, which is an exercise in itself, of a different kind (albeit an enjoyable one sometimes).

Pax, I was going to work for Verizon Online Technical support, although the company that I was being hired for, also takes care of the Bell South Account. The craziest thing I’d ever heard was a recording of a woman getting off on a Tech support guy’s instructions. Don’t know if it was true or not. Maybe not.
