Anybunny here been to Machu Picchu? →[More:]I had dinner with a friend recently who's planning a trip with this company in August and am thinking of joining him. My only real concerns are my overall fitness and the camping - well, mostly the camping, since I can just hit the gym between now and then to work on the former.

I've been to Machu Pichu and I went with those people. I did the 5 week Andean Adventure trip in the Quito to La Paz direction. I cannot say enough good things about the experience and about my guide, Alex Aguierra (I think that's the correct spelling). The groups were small enough to be flexible, we decided to spend extra time in Ban(y)os and skipped Cuenca altogether. It also fantastic to have all our accommodations arranged prior to getting to a town. If you're on a night bus that gets into town at 3am, then it's especially nice. If you have questions feel free to email me! I loved GAP and would definitely take another trip with them (I've been eyeing the Bangkok to Bali and 6 wks in Kenya trips).

I'm jealous...
