Jonesing for Turkish Top 40 →[More:]So now that allofmp3 won't take my money anymore, does anyone know of a site with an English, or Russian, or at least romance language interface whence I can download Turkish and middle eastern pop music?

look, I'd buy it legit if I could, but I can't find it! The stores around here that sell "international" music are way too snobby to sell the crap I like to listen to.

Have you tried afropop.org? It may not be top 40ish but they normally have some good stuff. (okay, they may not have anything turkish right now.) They still have some good stuffs, though.

They also have a community forum where people will likely be able to point you in the right direction. Disclosure: I have done work for afropop in the past and they are kind people.

Hey, out of curiousity, I really dig Erkin Koray and some Cem Karaka and Baris Manchow (dunno how to spell Baris's name). I really like the psych and droney stuff best, but could dig it with a beat behind it. Any suggestions?
