Actually, last week I did finish a wedding DVD at 3 a.m. I've been working at night becaue my 3-year-old son won't let me sit uninterrupted at the computer in the daytime. BUT, he enters kindergarten this Thursday, so I'll a have a few hours of unmolested office time during the day from now on. I'll stick with the original deadline, however, since it is IMMUTABLE!

Off-topic: Wendell, do they still have those Thursday afternoon summer barbecues where they shut down the downtown streets of SLO-town?

PK, it's officially a Farmer's Market, but the BBQers and live music and guy-in-a-bear-suit tend to steal the show. But it's not just summer; being in an area mostly lacking seasons, it's every Thursday except when it rains; and one Thursday last January, they imported 15 or 16 tons of snow for kids to play in. It's a great walking experience, which makes me wish every Thursday that I didn't have trouble walking...

You know, is there some sort of service for this? For people who have specific goals and definite steps which must be taken to get there, but where the only consequence of not doing things is not meeting a personal goal, so they just can't be bothered to do it? Cause I need this service. Bad.
