I rather liked Massachusetts when I was up there. I enjoyed the snow and surrounds. Anyway, it beats the hell out of Texas where, as they say, if you don't like the weather you might as well blow your fucking brains out because it doesn't get any better than this.
It's been snowing here (central Ohio) on and off for 2 days and nights after we'd had it hit 80 for two days in a row. Yesterday's workout was a pain party until I got warmed up to the point that my fingers quit hurting (mostly). But then, I've learned to make friends with pain, so it was all good.
"Sticking" snow is more a function of ground temperature than air temperature, I think.
I just E'd a friend who wants to join me out at the reservoir for an Easter sunrise service. It's supposed to be about 25 at sunrise on Sunday.
Here in SLOtown, CA, we had a high of barely 70 fahrenheits today, but the temp has already dropped nearly 20 B.A.s* and its only an hour past Twilight Time. The forecast low of 47 for Easter Sunrise may need to be revised downward. Of course, I have not been directly snowed on since I was a 5-year-old in Cleveland, OH, although I've had a couple exposures to previously fallen snow in the more mountainous areas of CA (and have been caught driving in a cold rain that turned to hail). Just sayin'.
Yeah, I heard about the snow here in Mass. while I was in sunny Florida. Of course, I'm not one for the heat and humidity so I'm glad to be home. Unfortunately, I didn't bring anything heavier than my corduroy blazer on my trip... the ride home from the airport was fun, I tell you.
