I'd say somewhere around 9/1/2006, as from that point on he no longer looks chisled, just bloated.

How the hell do you get like 4/6/03 in only 4 months?

I've been watching his site since I discovered it in 2004. The man used to be an swimmer in High School, then got pudgy after college. One day he decided to get fit again. He worked out every day and started dieting. So, you figure he already had the muscle memory from when he was an athlete, and I hold a theory that men's bodies can go back into that state more easily than women.

Also, it's amazing what your body can do if you actually dedicate 4 months to it and really focus. Not halfheartedly 'try to' diet, but really keep to a structured eating plan and do cardio and/or strength training most days a week.

Which I should *ahem* do again.

Agreed on the 4/6/2003. What's going on around 6-03 and 7-03? Is that a stage that serious body builders go through or something (like growing your hair out -- the messy in-between stage)? Yeecch!

I liked him at the end of 2004, but I think that's when the steriods started. You can sort of see the expansion after that in his v-shape and his neck. In my opinion he went too far.
I do believe that men can lose much faster than women. My husband just cut back on portions and began going to the gym again on a regular basis and dropped 21 pounds in a couple of months. He makes me sick. ^_^
Of course, men carry their fat behind their muscle, while women have the reverse. Darned biological differences.

What would be great is if he just said, "Fuck it.", stopped exercising, started eating Ben & Jerry's and photographed his quick decline into...well, into my world, I guess.
