That one pic of Mick Mars was from his pretty boy era. Nowadays, the man could scare Alice Cooper.

(Yeah, yeah, I know Mick has a degenerative disease. He's still making a fortune from it.)

Poor Mick Mars. In every other metal band, the guitarist is the major focus. In the Crue, the guitarist was the guy nobody cared about.

(Lemmy is an inspirational figure in the mold of Ron Jeremy in that he's a very ugly guy, who by means of his celebrity, has managed to bone scores of beautiful women. Gives ya hope.)

Poison Idea. Saw them play live in Seattle ages ago, and man could they shred. Sure they're punk, but Pig Champion deserves an honourable mention.

Heh. My first exposure to Crowbar was on Beavis & Butthead. The video began with a closeup of Windstein's face sweting and grunting into the camera with his brow all furrowed. Beavis was all 'This dude looks like he's pinching a loaf. heh-heh.'
