Ipod hope? Too lazy to search AskMe again →[More:]

New in January ipod is suddenly corrupted. I managed to restore the device (thanks askme!) but the program itunes now shuts itself off/is buggy. I believe I need to remove and reinstall - how can I save my library? On a r/w disc, right?

I don't want to skip down a garden path here, so please hope if you have time. Thanks.

You're talking about an iTunes install on a computer that you synch your ipod to, right? If so, remving and reinstalling iTunes shouldn't affect your library... it's all just stored in a folder inside your My Documents directory.
