Miniature Tigers, Oh My! →[More:]Not really. Toygers! Stupid name but I want one! Sadly, they cost $3000 USD. And they're not done tweaking with the breed - the breeders are trying to get it "shaped" more like tigers (clubby tail, rounded ears, wider face and chin).

Still, they're damned cute.

They've got the stripes down. I'm no cat expert, but it does seem to have very large paws for a cat it's size, so perhaps they've achieved paws as well.

I'll buy one whenever they perfect it to look just like a tiny tiger.
By that time, perhaps, they will have invented a "permanent puppy" counterpart for every dog species as well.
I'll start saving up now.

aw, bengals are so gorgeous, that's a damned shame. i don't know who these types are who apparently view their pets as a disposable fashion accessory but this makes me want to cheesegrate their genitals.

And I had just gotten ikkyu to stop threatening the cat with one. He greatly admires that the toygers are not allowed to be deceptive (unlike regular cats, I guess...).

I still want a Snow Leopard. Yeah, I know, wild animals don't make pets, endangered species, etc, but it is okay to want one.

It's kind of interesting that the Bengal was a designer breed, and the breeder's daughter is now taking it a step further.
