Yay, thanks ericb!

1. Awwww. Yes, that made some tears.
2. Man, those people really know how to get press interest. [NOT CYNICAL]
3. Wow, a school that still allows cupcakes to be served at parties. There's hope after all.

ericb, it is a lovely video. I cried out loud.

I was able to view it on MSNBC, and I have the latest FF. Strange.

I'm not sniffling for any other reason than allergies. I swear.

yeah, my allergies are terrible today, too. jesus.

Poor kid, crying in front of his class like that.

I don't know. Maybe I'm becoming a heartless bastard, but all I could think was that I'm usually a sucker for this kind of thing, but I hate feeling manipulated.

And seven months isn't really that long. The guy will probably have to go back for a longer term.

Yeah, I cried. Dammit.

ColdChef, think about when you were a six year old kid - seven months seemed like FOREVER + a day.

I cried in about a second. What an adorable kid!

Oh, no doubt. I was just saying that the guy will probably have to go back. And that's fucked up.

It is fucked up that the guy will probably have to go back (and it'll probably be longer term). I agree.

I must be a heartless bastard because all I saw was a media event.

I could live off the look on that kid's face for a week. Oh man, media event or not, that kid was so real.

And then...cupcakes for all!

Awesome.
