Ha! Put DOWN the sugary cereal, BoringPostcards - you're on a cartoon bender!

I know, rainbaby... I try and I try to stick with NPR in the mornings, but sometimes I need just a nip of the hard stuff.

Why were Huey, Duey and Louie left under Scrooge's care? The Wikipedia article doesn't make it clear.

Did something happen to Della Duck?! Who is the mystery father?!

Oh, the Huey, Dewey and Louie article is much more helpful than the Ducktales article on this topic.

Panic attack averted.

I used to love reading comics, back when there were fun cheap comics in the grocery store for all kids to read, before comics retreated completely into comics stores where the air hung heavy with the scent of adolescent testosterone.

Unca Scrooge made for some great comics, definitely the best of the Disney pantheon. Tales of the ridiculously rich are always popular with kids. Enjoyed those, and I also was not above perusing the pages of Sad Sack, Beetle Bailey, Casper, or Richie Rich. But I will ever be true to Archie.

Casper, or Richie Rich. But I will ever be true to Archie.

I was a HUUUGE fan of Harvey Comics as a kid. I can remember hanging out on my family's porch in the summertime with a huge stack of them (I'd re-read them over and over) whiling away the whole day with Richie Rich and Cadbury, the butler. Casper and Little Dot were big faves, too.

I'm dubious. I think they may have a goose in the woodpile.

If you're going to get goosed, I guess a woodpile is as good a place as any for it to happen.
