27 March 2007

You know who has an awesome work photo? This guy.
Whoa. That was alarming.
posted by phoenixc 27 March | 00:03
I don't know *exactly* what I was expecting there but not that.

What is there did not disappoint, though.

I just LOL'd.

What are the chances of Olena emailing him, do you think?
posted by mudpuppie 27 March | 00:18
I kinda hope she doesn't. Olena should stick to working her magic on craigslist dorks.
posted by cmonkey 27 March | 00:19
Wow. That's really real, isn't it.
I wonder if he has some sort of condition...?
posted by CitrusFreak12 27 March | 00:23
Well, fine. But Olena needs someone else to write. I hear she's getting itchy. And not DOWN THERE. LOL.
posted by mudpuppie 27 March | 00:23
She should write letters to CEOs and heads of state like Lazlo Toth.

Re: The events of 15 March 2007

Whoever has been switching the labels on the coffe urns is seriously out of line. While I am all for blowing off a little steam after a difficult case, I must remind you all that Michael's doctors insist that he drink only decaf coffee. Fun is fun, but the fact is that this firm cannot continue to absorb the loss of billable hours due to frightened or wounded clients.

Isn't Lazlo Toth dead?
posted by mudpuppie 27 March | 00:32
Lazlo Toth is/was Don Novello

Whoa!
posted by arse_hat 27 March | 00:38
Think he was slapped on the back in the middle of making that face when he was 10?
posted by rhapsodie 27 March | 00:47
bmarkey, i knew that. i was making a (unfunny) joke!
posted by mudpuppie 27 March | 00:49
Oops! Sorry
posted by bmarkey 27 March | 00:51
Oh, lord, I wasn't expecting that, and it caused much cackling. On my part. And my husband's pained beg: Please don't laugh like that...
posted by Savannah 27 March | 00:53
What a genius photo. After all the hassle I've had over the years getting people to be happy with their photo for our intranet, thinking that this guy must've approved that image slightly asplodes my mind.
posted by TheDonF 27 March | 01:05
TheDonF go look at the whole group of photos.
posted by arse_hat 27 March | 01:09
The cast of Ally McBeal they are not. Most of those are as normal as most photos I've seen - only Mr Brandow looks as though he's just sat on an anal intruder whilst having his nads connected to a small electrical generator.
posted by TheDonF 27 March | 01:20
I hope he makes that face in court a lot. It's his ANGRY NO WORKERS-COMP FOR YOU, JERK face.
posted by cmonkey 27 March | 01:25
I would definitely want him on MY side in any legal proceeding. Under the right circumstances, that expression could be quite an asset.

Super Lawyers 2006? (scroll to bottom of page for logo)

That's cold. I mean, if you ever qualify to wear the uniform with the big "S" and the red cape, shouldn't it be a lifetime award?
posted by paulsc 27 March | 03:58
If I ever need a lawyer, I want a Super Lawyer! A regular lawyer just won't do.
posted by LunaticFringe 27 March | 07:08
I can't stop laughing at that guy's photo. It's just too freakin' funny. Like he's gonna leap out of the computer screen and eat my throat! And he smells something really, really bad.

Twenty-five posts and not one mention of John Lithgow yet. Is it just me who sees it?
posted by Prospero 27 March | 09:29
I saw the resemblance too, Prospero, but I didn't think it was worth commenting on -- the eyes have it, as it were.

Where they really missed an opportunity, I think, was not making the eyes blink as with the gimp logo or what Lynn Johnston's experimented with in the online version of her strip For Better or For Worse.
posted by PaxDigita 27 March | 09:43
Well if I am in a trial, I want this guy on my side, cross-examining any witness that dares to disparage my position.

You see John Lithgow, Prospero, I see Andy Kaufman.

I choked on my own spit laughing at that picture.

They should teach pulling that face at law school.
