Why do I get the feeling that this student spent about 15 to 20 minutes with SpellCheck before submitting that memo? I would love to see the first draft.
This is as bad as the critique I received when I was a Software Engineering TA that complained about my emphasis on statistics and business skills. "Nobody cares how much a project costs!"
Oh lordy. "I have made very high grades in all my other writing classes and even though I had many disputes with those instructors we always settled them to my happiness."
What a coward and an asshole (says the snarky semi-anonymous poster to a weblog). I wish all these people who think the world is out to get them could realize that if they have so many problems with other people then maybe, JUST MAYBE, they're the one doing something wrong? </vent>
That is pretty much the key statement in that tirade. He had no problem initiating "many disputes" previously but then he runs into this guy who announces in no uncertain terms that he will not tolerate bullshit. I also wouldn't be surprised if this so-called student played the race card in his previous engagements.
Dear casarkos, thank you for taking your inconvenience to post this, but you make me completely uncomfortable with the things you say, and I really had some problems reading the tiny details in the link. I could have read links in too much detail on my own, but that is not what I came to the internet to do because I already know how to read, and I would have told you this but you make me completely uncomfortable with your words. After this post I am hurt and tired and feel like talking to you now will do me no good. :(
matildaben: The kid's next comment was "You just pass the extra expense off to the customer." One of the few times I nearly passed out from laughing so hard. I just couldn't help it.
