"0.002 dollars and 0.002 cents is not the same thing," man tries to explain to Verizon customer service. An oldy-but-goody that's making the rounds again.
Someone needs to edit that down by about 90%.

The problem here is that it's normal business nomenclature to say something costs 0.02p meaning 2p.

Yeah, that's exactly it. Still, the level of basic maths proficiency is depressing. I must never forget how damn lucky I am to have received such a good education.
