I don't have a photo, but I remember one time I was in Shakespeare and Co., a bookstore on lower Broadway that has a resident feline. One time there was a lady waiting in line at the counter with a placid bulldog on a leash. Seeing the dog, the cat emerged from behind the stacks and arched it's back and started hissing like a rattlesnake. The pooch just looked on quizzically as if to say "What's up with him?"

In the midst of all that urbanity, it was kind of neat to see some Animal Planet action.

I don't have the right font on this computer, but this picture cries out for a "Pow!" or "Biff!" added to it.
