Ancient Audio AskMecha So I have this car and in this car is this cassette deck and on this cassette deck it says CLEAN in increasingly strident letters.
→[More:]I don't know, go figure, I've been ignoring the little sign for 9.5 of the roughly 10 years I've owned the car but now, suddenly, I insert some 15 year old prerecorded cassette and it doesn't sound good! Gosh! They're all wobbly and weird! What a shock! Anyway, faux surprise aside, how do I clean it as cheaply, simply and quickly as possible? Get one of the linked thingies from Amazon? Go to radio shack? Get out the Q-tips & the rubbing alcohol? I have no clue on how to do this anymore.
