When I was 15 a friend wrote 64 bad checks. Each bad check carries 3 charges "Forging a document", "Uttering a forged document", and "fraud". At that time under Canadian law each charge had to be read and answered. You could not just plea to all charges. 64 x 3 = 192. It took two hours for him to plead guilty. I lost track of him shortly after that. He went to prison for manslaughter when he was 18.
That's a shame. I hope he's 'redeemable' and that he finds a strong mentor to guide him.
Nelsonville is a nice little town, I've got friends who live there and it's about 25 miles from where George lived. A lovely old town square, a great theatre, some beautiful Victorian homes, and the coffee store talked about in the article is one of the best I've ever been to. Oh, and Sara Jessica Parker is from Nelsonville too.
He needs to be locked up and studied. An opportunity to prevent enormous grief for some family (or families) who will undoubtedly lose a loved one at the hands of this mutant one day, is glaringly obvious here.
I totaly agree ... this kids broke. but in the name of compassion i'm sure we'll release him back into society of victimize those members who are not hurting any one else.
