Sooo, the haircut.... It's nothing drastic, just a trim and some layering. I like it but the shampoo person put in too much conditioner. They listened to me when I said I didn't put styling junk in my hair and didn't try to push their products. I'd definitely go back.[More:]

There's a reading at KGB Sunday by one of my classmates from Iowa, so I'll be late to the meetup.

I finally saw Zodiac--loved it! But I suggest jonmc lose the goatee for the next few months if he doesn't want yet more people comparing him to Robert Downey Jr. ;-P
Very cool!

This is why I go back to the same person for my haircuts for the last 8 years: we argued once, in the beginning, but settled and now I do not even have to tell him what I need done everytime. He knows!

enjoy the new haircut brujita!

I wish I had a haircutting person I knew and trusted- I have a salon I like, but I'm not at the point where I'm known, etc. My family has used the same stylist in FL for years, so I often get my haircut by him when I'm down there.

I never get to know my hairdressers, because I only get my hair cut 2 or 3 times a year. They never remember me.

My mom moved out to Seattle last summer, but has yet to find someone cut her hair in a way she likes. So the two times she's been back here, she's had her hair cut by her former stylist.
Me? I usually go to the same salon, and get whoever is available. But the last girl did such a fabulous job that I think I'll request her from now on. My sister-in-law is an amazing stylist, but her salon is too expensive for me, and I hate bugging her at home.
