can someone explain to me why i *never* shed eyelashes until a) i'm running late and b) i've just put a fresh pair of contacts in (which makes me have to remove and reinsert them, cos the eyelash invariably gets embedded underneath)

Seriously, they're probably fucking and they think their moans and bangs would be more annoying than their taste in loud music.

Well, I laid down the law last night. I had usually tried to go up, be like, hey, music's too loud, but I'm done. I left a voicemail that basically said YOU CAN'T PLAY LOUD MUSIC IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, YOU DINGBATS, SO CUT IT OUT OR I'M CALLING THE LANDLORD.

bonus little injustice: i washed my bike for the first time in six months and on the way into work discovered the garbagemen spilled garbage juice all over the alley next to our bike rack.

ew.

TPS - i highly recommend urbanwhaleshark's Justin Timberlake disco dance remix of "My Love" as an antidote. it works everytime for the kids downstairs from us.

Complete derail: Last night my friend was telling me about her neighbors, who are Costa Rican and apparently own 2 CDs, both of which they like to listen to very, very loud and sing along with. Her question: Is it more annoying to listen to someone who doesn't really speak English and can't sing singing along to Celine Dion or Conway Twitty?

mygothlaundry: that's not a complete derail, i'd consider that one of life's injustices to have to listen to that. even a friend having to listen to that seems fairly unjust, now that i consider it.
