TPS, you gave good advice. I didn't read the comments after yours, and it may have been said, but a hollow-core door is inexpensive.

It's funny, there is another question concerning punching a hole in drywall and how to repair it. There's a lot of punchin' going on.

The funniest thing in the thread was the person who got a sockpuppet account just so they could follow the guidelines and answer the questions and still get their point across regarding the boyfriend.

I am under serious impression that that question was supposed to be sarcasm over all "My boyfriend hacked my arm off and now my carpet is ruined with blood stains. Will over the counter carpet-cleaning products do the job?" questions, and nobody got the joke.
