I have no idea what this thread is about. My mom mentioned this Bourdain guy once in conversation. That's all I know.

If he's the main reason why North American restaurants dump raspberry coulis on desserts when there's no mention of it on the menu (as he recommended in Kitchen Confidential), he should be relegated to the ninth circle of hell.
