West coast will only see the later half of the eclipse just after 6 pm.

pups your sundown is 5:51 tomorrow so you should see some of the red for about half an hour.

We could see an eclipse from our front door about three plus years ago. The kids (and I) were thrilled. I'll be looking tonight, too!

My neighbors came upstairs to see it. Their timing was perfect because we got to see it for about 30 seconds before the clouds rolled in. It was great explaining to a little kid that the we were causing the shadow on the moon. I don't think she understood, but she was interested anyway.
