Lightning struck the church I go to last August. Knocked one of the steeples off the front of the building. Insurance is going to cover the repairs, but because it's a church steeple and because the building is so old and intricate, it's taking a long time to get it coordinated. The beautiful building is covered in scaffolding and tarps :-(
He is a jerk. I wished I could find a better blurb about it on teh internets, but I couldn't. I also couldn't find pictures of the cars coated with and stuck in feet of ice when a water main broke and it was -9 outside. Stupid internets.
