Is Metafilter slow? →[More:]I just typed a larger than usual reply to a Metafilter post. It's slloowwww, it won't post. Not that my post is meaningful or anything, but dammit, I hate when I'm all excited about posting something and it won't post.

I can't connect either, Even when I use the Secret Knock that Matt gave to all the sub1k members in 2000. (But then, he may just be ignoring it because it could be quonsar)
