If you watched Lost last night *potential spoilers* [More:]didn't it kind of feel like the episode was a thinly veiled metaphor about the writing of the show, that they had lost hope, but with a little help and Mickey Rooney, by golly, they're going to get it going again.

Hurley is my favourite. I like his whole storyline with the bad luck money and the numbers, I never get tired of him. I love when he saw the VW van and just stood there and said "Awesome." And how he thought the guy was named "Roger Workman."
I also got kind of teary when he was talking to the dead girl at the beginning.

But man, they have to stop it with the sensitive, emotional montages cut to sappy music that seem to come about 5 minutes from the end of every episode lately. Really lame.

Oh, and these new young goodlooking people who have lines like "Hurley, where were you?" every two weeks...what's with them? Who the fuck are they? It's like the writers are trying to be safe and plant some people that they can go back to later when they run out of ideas.

Seems like next week they'll be a new hatch/numbers to enter/paranoia type thing happening. I like that stuff better then all the Kate/Sawyer/Jack nonsense and the disappointment at finally getting to learn more about the "Others."

/2¢.

Hurley's my favorite, too. My husband fell asleep midway through the episode, though, and when he woke up and asked what he missed, I had to tell him "nothing." They got the car started. That's about it.

I'm losing patience. I've really had it with the "love triangle" thing. (You want a romantic storyline? You should have kept Libby alive, dammit.)

And I don't know what's up with the new people. The producers have promised that they'll play an "important role" in the story soon. But who knows what that means.

Ideally, they'll be used to block bullets from hitting Hurley.

I was thinking they could tie them all together and use them as a makeshift raft.

Gah - I've missed every single episode of season 3 because I won't pay money to Murdoch who stole it from Channel 4 (a terrestrial channel in the UK). Added to which, I cannot seem to get a reliable torrent of any episodes that'll play on my Mac. I am not happy.

And now I will miss every upcoming episode of Lost. Virgin refuse to give Murdoch the money he wants for showing Sky 1 on cable (Yay to Branson), so I'm down about 5 shows. (Lost, BSG, SG1, SG Atlantis, 24)

Thank God for Heroes on SciFi Channel - This has just started for me. I'm on episode 3 and loving it.

Anyway, About 10 extra hours a week. You know those updates I need to do to the metachat. Maybe gonna happen.

TheDonF, I'm on a Mac and I've torrented so many Losts it's not funny.
You need to download the VLC player and just keep it in your Dock. Whenever you download an episode just drag it onto the VLC player, it plays anything.

And isohunt.com seems to have lots of season 3 episodes. So get going!

USENET is still around, and still pretty handy...
