And I'm going to see her on March 18. Which will be my second time seeing her - in a small and funky concert hall - and would be my third but the last time she played here I got really sick and couldn't go. This time I'm going even if I have a 106 degree fever, which, given the way my luck goes, I probably will.

Last time I saw her was in the pouring rain. She was opening for Willie. .tix were $50. I was going to stand outside and listen, but got a ticket for $5. Stood way down in front, like I usually do.

The time before, Portland Zoo. . .108 degree day.

In a way, suffering to see her makes it better.

I'm sick, I know.

Oh, choice track off of an excellent album. I got that album last week and it's good. Unsuffer me, though, is the best thing on it.
