MetaChat is an informal place for MeFites to touch base and post, discuss and
chatter about topics that may not belong on MetaFilter. Questions? Check the FAQ. Please note: This is important.

For the record, the segment spent a few minutes with Amanda and her ex-partner at Rocketboom, a minute with Kos, and over his last quote, showed blink-and-you-miss-em screenshots of...

Sorry, no MetaChat.
oh, god. Pray metachat never gets noticed... like anywhere. Except mefi. To be honest, if we somehow had some really great internal search, I'd rather the site not be indexed at all (as much as that's ever possible with robots.txt blah blah).
Don't worry taz. These were half-second screenshots at most. Nobody but a total lunatic (me) would go to the trouble of harvesting addresses for these sites. And if the METACHAT logo ever showed up onscreen without the address line, the gawkers and stalkers would all go looking for the .com...
In followup to the Frontline story, People Magazine sent me an email asking if I had any contact info on you. Something about a cover story they want to have ready when Web 3.0 rolls around. . .
