Dating is Hell - Update... →[More:]So, The Girl and I are An Item. I thought we were going to take a 2 week break, but she wanted to see me after two days.
I asked her if we needed to talk and she fixed me with a very pointed look and said, "I'm done talking."

She twitches a bit when I refer to her as "my girlfriend" but I threatened to use "Main Squeeze" instead and that makes her laugh.

Despite all the initial weirdness, I think she finally realized I'm not a nutty control freak like her exes. We have a lot in common (despite her fascinations with Ayn Rand and really bad movies on the Lifetime Channel. I love her subtle sense of humor and big, almond shaped eyes. She's a terrific kisser, too!

Oh yeah, I moved into a new place last week. So once I settle with the city, everything will be just peachy!

Don't forget the subtle reminders that she's damn lucky to have you. Try writing it out in mallomars and sneaking notes into her fridge for the late night reveal.

She knows. She even said so last night and she wasn't being sarcastic!
She's a pretty reserved person, but once you know what to look for, it's all there. Sometimes we just sit and stare at each other.

Hey black8, I'm glad it's all good for you! Let me tell you, a lot of guys would have written this woman off as "too much work/maybe a little crazy" a long time ago, but to me she sounds really sweet and reserved and mysterious and perhaps a little fragile, and so very protective of her heart. Be a little protective of your own heart, lest you get a little clingy or she starts craving drama or something. I'm glad that you're happy, and I bet she's happy! Everyone should be happy!
