Not all of us posess or are skilled at photoshop, man.

Not all of us have stuff for every freaking topic every week, man.

I think a photoshopped thread would be fun. I might not contribute 'cause I'm not so talented... but it would be interesting to see what comes up. I know there are some VERY talented folks here with photoshop, and it would be nice to see them flaunt their stuff. (looking at iconomy and lfr...).

I do like the idea of amorphous themes which could be interpreted various ways. Like "expressions" for example. Facial expressions? Emotional expressions? etc... A photoshop thread could be interpreted as photos that might seem photoshopped, but aren't. (Every one of my photos is edited in some way or another, sharpness, levels, cropping...) I think the themes are only limited by the creativity of the participant.

OK enough random rambling. Carry on and have a Friday theme. Whether I participate (I will definitely view) is irrelevant.

So, make the theme "Altered Pictures", either something you've photoshopped or something the average web cynic would say looks like it's been photoshopped.

If enough people are against it, though, let's not do it.

But then again, you can "PhotoShop" things in MS Paint (save images you'll use as BMPs, make sure you go to "Image" and UNcheck "Draw Opaque," erase the areas you want gone, cut-n-paste), etc...

I used to do this on MeFi all the time from my work computer, since MS Paint was all I had.

It's a really good learning experience.
