Priceline has managed to combine all of my marketing grammar pet peeves into a single tagline: Save up to half off on hotels! Grr.
I saw a Home Depot billboard today that said:

"Reason No. 91: The latest, hottest 'gotta have it.'"

WTF does that even mean??

Maybe that's why it's so far down on the list?

It just occurred to me that "Save up to half off or more on hotels!" would have been even worse. So that's some consolation, I suppose.

"SAVE" up to "HALF" off on hotel's!

Better?

Can we work some single quotes in there, too? I think it needs some single quotes. Maybe around the double quotes.

Only if we get the second night for 0.99¢ more.

Let's give them a break. I'm amazed that Priceline is still around. If you would have asked me eight or nine years ago, I would have told you that this slimy excuse for a dotcom boomer would be one of the first against the wall after the crash. I simply don't know how they've limped along this far.
