I got in an Internet Argument with a spammer!

That was comedy gold. Thank you for helping me waste a few minutes.

Is there some kind of template that Spammers use to try to defend themselves? They all end up sounding the same.

"Hey calm down! This was just an innocent post! And anyway, it's YOU GUYS that really suck. Thank you for your comments."

It's kind of like the adult version of "I'm rubber, you're glue..."

You didn't really get into an argument, you turned what would've been a LOLSPAMMERS! thread into something much less nasty. That's a nice thing to have done.

thanks BtGoG that was one of the better trainwrecks i've seen on the MeTa sites of late. appreciate the link, i'd have completely missed this.

i love how you were able to gently deflect the more reactionary poo-flinging of the MeTaSnarks ^TM
