I devoted the last 24 hours to the fine art of Not Throwing Up. I think I'm getting good at it, I didn't throw up at all. Stupid stomach virus.

Aw, agro. There's nothing worse than puking. I would rather be in pain than nauseous. Hope you're feeling better soon.

*gentle whuffles* sorry to hear that, probably the only thing worse than puking is dry heaves and/or wicked nausea. can you tolerate some ginger tea? ginger is a pretty well known anti barf agent.

As is flat ginger ale and saltines. It seems the stomachh demons are making their rounds, sciurus was sick as well.

The MrsMoonPie is still recovering from a nasty bout of food poisoning (which, in my non-expert opinion, is what most "stomach flus" really are) which sent her to the hospital Saturday night. Bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast--anything else gives her the burps something awful.

If her burps get that rotten-egg taste, it's likely giardia, I'm told.

Any "afterburner malfunction," or just callin' for Ralph and Earl?

Might want to sip some Gatorade or similar to ward off dehydration. Co-worker's college age son was a 24-hour double-ended firehose Wed. and felt pretty screwed up for a little while there.

I'm sorry you're under the weather. I think this is another Two Kinds Of People in the World thing. I'd much rather throw up, because then I feel better after, but I hear the other contingent.

Throwing up is awful, but I like it better than lying around with the nausea still inside me, because when the throwup is over, it's usually over. Except for that time in Albuquerque.

I'm sorry to hear this. Flat cola usually settles my stomach when I'm not well. Stay hydrated and rest well.
