Hey, where'd my other chin go?? If there's a finite amount of weight in the world maybe Jon caught what I dropped in the last two months...[More:]
I lost a LOT of weight maybe a year and a half ago. Like 80 pounds, roughly. But then I plateaued. And it seems, since Christmastime or so, I've dropped another 25.

My mom was in town for the weekend and for the first time in my adult life she said I looked really good, and didn't make any subtle or not so subtle jabs about my weight.

I dropped my entire tax refund and then some on all new clothes. It seemed so over the top, but then I realized that everything I own is now pinned and belted just to stay on.

So, I finally did something I've been putting off for a long time. Went through my closet and drawers and pulled out everything that's now too big for me and not beloved enough to take in, or already taken in within an inch of its life, for St. Vincent De Paul's.

It turned out to be two garbage bags full!

This makes me very, very happy.

(unfortunately my mental image is still of me at size 26 pushing 28 and not me at size 18 sometimes 16, but that's a whole other ball of wax there)

Wasn't much of a secret. Pilates once in a rare while. Walking at least a mile every weekday. I cut out most processed foods (in that I no longer bring them into my home, so they're not sitting around to tempt me, but I'll still go out to eat and stuff). I generally cook from scratch, and normally only use what I mentally classify as "real food" (butter, milk, stuff like that- no chemicals or diet substitutes), and eating less overall.
Oh, and I dropped the bulk of the weight when I ended a disastrous relationship, so all the depression-eating stopped.
