This is an "oh, pooh" thread. My (unmarried) daughter just found out... →[More:]that the four month long school thing in Romania that she has been working her butt off (and fundraising her butt off) to attend is closing.

As in she won't be going to Romania.

Oh, pooh.

Don't think of it as not going to Romania, think of it as being saved from ravening gypsies or something.

Well, of course they're not ravening now - this whole school-closing/change-of-plan thing has thrown a monkeywrench into the works, and they're going to have to start over from scratch with the ravening.

Did anyone else immediately think that would be followed by "...that she's pregnant?" Not that there'd be anything wrong with that.

That happened with the (now married) other daughter, and trust me- that is way more than an "oh, pooh" moment.
