Firefox question [More:]

When I load Firefox, all I get is a white screen. The navigation bar is there, but when I type in an address nothing loads. Any theroies of what is wrong? Thanks.
Do you use a blank page as the homepage (or startup page or whatever they call it)? Did you inadvertantly set Firefox to 'Offline Mode'? Can you still connect to websites using other browsers?

Hit control-alt-delete to open the task manager, then click on the "Processes" tab and end the "firefox.exe" process. The open firefox again, and everything should be cool.

If you had the same problem I had, that is.

box, no I don't use a blank page as the startup. My home page is yahoo. It's funny because I can type an address, any address, and hit go, and nothing happens.

Hit control-alt-delete to open the task manager, then click on the "Processes" tab and end the "firefox.exe" process. The open firefox again, and everything should be cool.

Joshuacorner, I thought that was the problem also. My husband showed me the little trick you mentioned a while ago. Unfortunately, it isn't running in the background somewhere.

I think I will re-install Firefox. I'm using Netscape Navigator of all things at the moment!

Thanks for the help guys!

Before you do that, and if you haven't done it already, you might go to the 'File' menu, and make sure 'Work Offline' isn't checked.
