On-line dating, meet reality. [More:]This was on TV last night and I thought "oh, for fucks sake, not another stupid story about some lame couple who met on-line and lived happily ever after", but this one has a twist.

The couple in question spent months chatting on-line, fell madly in love, got engaged, then decided to meet. You know that kind of butterflies in the stomach feeling that you get when you meet someone in person and there is an instant attraction? These two had an immediate reaction all right - they both had a strong feeling of "this is just so wrong", despite having formed what they felt was a strong, deep connection.

Book deal follows.

I'm not sure I understand. Did they meet each other and find one another unattractive? They're both good looking. Was there a lack of physical chemistry or somethin'? Anyway, I'm glad it worked out for them but I somehow can't help disliking them a bit.

Did any of you guys ever watch that ABC series "Hooking Up" which was about online dating in NYC? It was a documentary (of sorts) following several different women trying to find love in the Big Apple.

One in particular, Amy, was a total bunny boiler.

I loved it. Train wreck TV.

This is the time of day when the posts and comments really slow down. || Perez Hilton stole this from ME!
