Project Runway Fans: So my sister (the model) was in Malan Breton's fashion show this morning...→[More:]I am dying to see the photos but they don't seem to be online today.
She hates doing runway. I hope she didn't fall on her face.
Not to change the subject, but I ran into Laura a couple of weeks ago. I chatted her up for a minute. Nice lady, but who knows what she said behind my back.
;)
Malan Breton from Taiwan! I still can't believe they cut him and left that hack Vincent. I demand pictures and gossip!
What did Laura look like in person, hellbient? I always imagined she was a bit frecklier and less put together than she appeared on tv. I expect her to have visible bobby pins and lipstick on her teeth.
I thought she looked good. Yeah, a little less made up I guess, but she seemed to be running around doing errands with her kid. For someone who had a baby a few weeks beforehand, she looked amazing. She seems pretty together, in every way. I was in an art supply store, and the men that worked there were just in awe of her. Excitedly asking her questions and laughing uproariously at everything she said. Okaaay.
Me too. Idol has just finished (we get the two shows on Friday nights, repeated Sunday) and we have our own version of Project Runway called Project Catwalk with Kelly Osborne on Monday nights - divas and bitches galore, and that's just the guys. A new series of The Apprentice (UK version) starts soon, and ANTM6 has just started here (I already know who won, though, but I still like to see all the bitchiness).
Lola_G, we so need to go to these shows sometime. Like dress up and go. Like drink a lot beforehand and go. I know Sex and the City did it. But we'll do it better, no?
Your sister is beautiful, and she IS making it work. Melrose, not so much.
For some reason Malan always makes me think of Mike Myers's "My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard stuff really." monologue from Austin Powers.
