Can I just say that the wiki is looking HAWT?→[More:]Alongside the mothership over here, of course, but I feel like we already oohed and ahhhed over that.

Oooh, on the subject of the wiki (which does look lovely), is there any way we can have a prominent link on each page back to the main Metachat site?

Even the template so that things can be added globally? My (limited) experience in setting Media Wiki up seems to recall that that's an admin-only thing. Unless I'm forgetting. Also should non-admins be making global changes to it?

That might be true, TheDonF. Probably is, in fact.

But it looks like Metachat is accessible from any page if you click on "The Mothership" link.

Maybe the terminology is too flip to be obvious?

On the other hand, it's unlikely that anyone will end up on the MeCha Wiki without knowing how to get to MeCha first. I think.

Tis true, but I was looking for a way to get back to the site from the Wiki (I'm lazy and hacking the URL was getting annoying). But yay for pointing out that "mothership" link - I never would have guessed that's what it was.

Another (really simple) solution is typing 'metac'... into the address line of your browser, then drilling down.

Should work every time!
