I want Swedish Fish! (a ramble about unrequited cravings) [More:]
sadly, I'm not currently in a situation to actually GET any Swedish Fish. At least not rightdamnnow, which is what cravings are all about, right?

I also want a trebuchet. o and how fackin' cool is that site!? Yet, somehow I kinda don't think the Trebuchet Fairy is gonna hook me up with that one either.

What's on your current Unrequited Cravings list, eh?
Ever since a friend of mine split up with his Iranian-descent wife, I lost my source for torshi. His ex mom-in-law had jars and jars of the stuff that had been fermenting for 10-15 years, and it was SO damn good. We'd have a little anytime I was at his house, and now... none. *sigh*

I have a friend who builds trebuchets. Maybe I could get his number for you...

And I love the red Swedish fish, but sometime in the last five years or so, THEY CHANGED THE FLAVOR OF THE GREEN ONES! Now they're this horrible fake lime flavor. So sad.

I want a job that pays me to be creative. I crave it. Wake up nights, sweating.

That's a boss ride, speck, although I'm a Goat man, myself, As for food, I was craving a veal parm sub, so I nuked up the half of one I had left over from last night and now I'm satisfied.

Specklet, that's a bombass car there, I can see why you crave it.

Trebuchets are teh kool, aren't they? Men (and ladies) who build them are dangerously sexy. I built a big freakin' spud gun when I was a teenager, but as cool as that was, it just didn't have the weight and hurl-i-ness of a trebuchet.

Hm. Interesting you say that about the green Swedish Fish. I hadn't noticed myself but then I always did prefer the red ones anyhows.

BP thanks for the torshi link, although now I'm also craving giardiniera.

lfr - I built a trebuchet in high school. It's pretty easy, surprisingly. The hardest part is desiging a sling that will release the ball at exactly the right point in the arc. And yes, very sexy.

Greater Galilee Olive Oil Company's Fenugreek Salad Dressing.

A friend gave me a partial bottle once. . I got hooked. .and have not found it again. I even called the Co. in LA and the guy's accent was so thick, that I could not understand him, let alone get it through to him that I NEEDED that product. I think it's discontinued, but it is a red concoction, very pugent but really really good.
