AskMecha: Seriously is there a script somewhere out there that can register on all big networking-doo-dahs and community websites for you? My typingfingers are getting tired.

I don't believe there is. There's been some geek discussion on the whole issue of social sites, logging in and contacts but, unless anything's changed recently, you'll have to suffer with achy fingers.

That is kind of what Open ID is all about, a global digital identification scheme that makes the idea of a national ID card pale in comparison.
