Metachat Muzeek Challenge! →[More:] Okay, I'm looking for a band called the Blood Oranges. I heard them once at a cafe in Seattle on the stereo and loved them, but can't find their music around.

I believe the song I liked was about a lighthouse, but I could be wrong.

Anyone heard of 'em? Anyone have a YSI to lend?

I have a track of theirs called 'Gathering Flowers for the Master's Bouquet', a beautiful treatment of what is normally a plinky-plinky bluegrass gospel song. I don't know about the lighthouse song. I'm really tired tonight and my brain isn't working well enough for me to look through my CDs but tomorrow I'll dig it out for you, my friend.

I think KEXP is playing them all the time these days. If Amazon doesn't have it, try Insound.com, they have lots of DIY-label stuff.
