They must be really desperate. They were going to do that before on several occasions, but Dave's "intense" personality made them rethink it.

I have the feeling though that they would probably be pretty joyless shows.

bummer. i was kinda hoping that they'd continue on as an instrumental trio with occasional guest vocals.

you gotta admit - that would be awesome.

syntax - i really don't have enough faith in the Van Halen's anymore to expect great music from them. It'd be nice to be surprised though.

Also, it's just a summer tour, I'd be surprised if they can stand each other for that long. I can't imagine they'd do more than this.
