I saw a post today with the idea of making resolutions on Groundhog Day instead of New Year's Day, and then checking up on your progress on 3/3, 4/4, 5/5, etc. during the year.

No I'm not a wiccan, I just happen to have a pretty decent knowledge of folklore and myth (i'm a big Joseph Campbell fan).

Groundhogs stop being teh kyoot when one gets into your garage, craps on everything, shreds the screens in all of the windows, shreds any cloth it finds, chews on a lot of random stuff and opens the door to your freezer and allows everything in it to thaw and ruin.
